In the state of Oregon, licensed Naturopathic Doctors (NDs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) are permitted to provide intravaginal pelvic floor therapy as part of their scope of practice. This specialized course is designed to help you confidently and compassionately support clients with pelvic floor conditions through the use of intravaginal myofascial release, energetic techniques, and mindful presence.

You’ll learn to identify and address common pelvic floor conditions using a combination of advanced hands-on bodywork, energetic awareness, and the power of deep listening. Whether you're looking to expand your skillset or better serve your current clients, this training provides a comprehensive and holistic approach to pelvic floor therapy.

In this course you will learn:

• Benefits of Pelvic Floor Therapy

• Pelvic floor anatomy & assessment tools

Palpation skills to identify pelvic floor structures

• Pelvic floor intravaginal myofascial release, trigger point therapy and strain/counterstrain

Become familiar with conditions such as cystoceles, rectoceles, pelvic organ prolapse, muscle spasms.

• Practice Pelvic Floor Therapeutics

• Identify sacroiliac mobility dysfunction and soft tissue techniques to address alignment.

• Understand Emotional and Somatic Patterns: Explore the emotional and somatic holding patterns that can affect the womb and pelvis.

• Deep Listening and Uterine Unwinding: Develop skills in deep listening and uterine unwinding to support healing.

• Trauma-Informed Care: Learn to approach pelvic health with a trauma-informed perspective.

• Case Studies: Review real-life case studies to deepen your understanding and application of these techniques.

Who Should Attend:

This course is open to Naturopathic Doctors (NDs), Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs), Midwives, and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs). It is eligible for 12 CEUs through the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine (OBNM) and Licensed Massage Therapists.
